On 21st June 2026, SAFSI proudly celebrated an extraordinary milestone in the life of Mrs. Silveria de Laroya or as we fondly call her, Nanay Viring— 100 remarkable years of wisdom, strength, grace, and love. Reaching a century of life is a rare and beautiful blessing, and our community is deeply honoured to celebrate this special occasion with her.
Nanay Viring has long been a cherished and valued member of our community. Her life reflects resilience, compassion, and a quiet strength that has inspired generations. Through the years, she has witnessed history unfold, shared in the joys and challenges of family and community life, and touched countless hearts with her presence.
During Seniors Month, SAFSI had the privilege of recognising Nanay Viring as our most senior citizen — a title that carries not only distinction, but deep respect and admiration. As she celebrates her 100th birthday, we honour not just the years she has lived, but the legacy she continues to create through her kindness, wisdom, and enduring spirit.
For this milestone birthday may she be filled with love, laughter, treasured memories, and the warmth of those whose lives she has enriched. Mrs. de Laroya, thank you for being a shining example of dignity, perseverance, and community spirit.
